PROPEX EXPANDS PORTFOLIO WITH ACQUISITION OF LEADING OFFICE DATABASE BUSINESS
Propex, the provider of web-based platforms to the UK commercial property industry, has expanded its range of online services with the acquisition of Screenedata Limited for a mixture of cash and shares. Harry Offer and Christopher McAlpine, the founders of Screenedata, will continue to work with the company to help expand its services.
Screenedata provides commercial agents with in the most complete database of business space availability in London, the south east and the M25 area. It is widely regarded as the primary source of availability information for the office and industrial occupier market. The service was launched in 1998 and has gained a reputation amongst agents as being the most accurate and comprehensive online office directory in the market.
